Alcott Chimney Sweep in Michigan
Alcott Chimney Sweep handles chimney cleaning across Michigan with a level of certainty most homeowners have never experienced from a service call. When you book with us, you’ll know who is coming before the truck pulls up: their name, their photo, and the fact that they passed a background check and identity verification before ever being dispatched. That’s the Threshold Standard, and it applies to every sweep, inspection, and repair we perform. Michigan winters put real strain on flues – creosote buildup, moisture damage, and the occasional animal nest – and a clean chimney is the difference between a warm house and a fire hazard you can’t see.
Why Michigan Homeowners Choose Alcott Chimney Sweep
We’ve been serving homeowners since 2002 as part of the Alcott Chimney Sweep in Minnesota - Chimney Cleaning and Threshold Group family, and in that time we’ve learned that the anxiety around hiring a chimney company isn’t really about the chimney. It’s about the door. Who is this person? Can I trust them in my home while I’m here alone with my kids? Alcott answers those questions before you have to ask them. Every technician is background-checked and identity-verified – not as an upgrade, but as the baseline. We send their name and photo ahead of the visit, and they’ll show a photo ID badge at the door, every time, no exceptions. You’ll also get a written price before any work begins, so the number you approve is the number you pay. And the work itself carries a 365-Day Done Right Promise: a full year of accountability on every completed job. If a repair fails, the second visit is free. We work with professional trade materials – DuraFlex liner systems, HeatShield resurfacing, Gelco, Olympia Chimney, Famco, and Copperfield – because chimney professionals specify those brands for a reason. They hold up to Michigan’s freeze-thaw cycles and the acidic byproducts of wood combustion.
Backed by the Threshold Group Family
Alcott Chimney Sweep is part of Threshold Group, a family of twelve home-service brands founded in 2010 on a single promise: you always know exactly who is at your door. The name comes from the threshold itself – the step you cross to come inside, and for centuries the symbol of who you trust past that line. Every Alcott Chimney Sweep in Mississippi - Chimney Cleaning job carries that weight. Background-checked technicians, name and photo before the visit, a badge at the door, and a written price in your hand before work starts. If anyone arrives who you were not told to expect, that visit is on us.
