Threshold Verified – Terms
Threshold Verified is the promise behind every Threshold Group brand. It means the technician scheduled for your home has been background-checked, identity-verified, and photo-badged before they ever knock. You receive their name and photo before the visit, so you know exactly who to expect. If someone shows up who you were not told to expect, that visit is on us, and we make it right. This promise stands for a full 365 days from the date of your service.
What’s Covered
The guarantee covers the commitments that matter most when you invite a tradesperson into your home. Here is what Threshold Verified means in practice:
- Workmanship – The work performed by the technician is done to a professional standard. If something tied to the service we provided fails within the 365-day window, we return and address it.
- Honest pricing – The price you agree to before the work begins is the price you pay. No surprises after the fact.
- On-time service – The technician arrives within the window we give you. If schedules change, you hear from us before you wonder where we are.
- Make-it-right resolution – If any part of the Threshold Verified promise is broken, the family coordinates a fix. We do not hand you a phone tree or a form and wish you luck. We own it.
How to Make a Claim
Making a claim under Threshold Verified is meant to be straightforward, because a guarantee that is hard to use is not much of a guarantee. Here is the process:
1. Contact the brand you hired. Call the local business that performed your service. That is the fastest path, because they already have your job details, your address, and the name of the technician who came to your home.
2. Describe the issue within the 365-day window. Tell them what happened, when it happened, and what you need fixed. You do not need a lawyer, and you do not need a 40-page form. A clear description is enough to start the review.
3. The family coordinates a resolution. If the local brand cannot resolve things directly, the Threshold Group steps in. We coordinate between you and the brand, review what went wrong against the Threshold Standard, and arrange a make-it-right fix. Our goal is a resolution that leaves you as whole as you were before the service, and ideally better.
Throughout this process, you deal with people, not a portal. The same family that set the standard enforces it.
Conditions
Threshold Verified is a good-faith promise built on reasonable conditions. To make a claim, you need to be able to show proof of service, such as an invoice, receipt, or work order from the brand you hired. We need reasonable access to the property to inspect and correct the issue. The guarantee applies to normal residential use of the work performed. It does not cover damage caused by unrelated events, misuse, or changes made by third parties after we leave. These conditions exist so the promise stays honest and works for everyone, not to create loopholes that get us out of doing the right thing.
Terms may vary slightly by brand and local regulations.
